Week 3 Super-Cart 🤖
Hey everyone! Today, the BirchBots team had a really exciting and productive day. On the operations side, we worked on Candygrams, which is one of our biggest events. It’s always a fun project to work on because it’s so important for BirchBots, and we get to see how everything comes together. There’s a lot of planning and organizing involved, but it’s totally worth it! On the build side, the team worked on the supercart project. It’s a pretty long process, but it’s still really interesting to be part of because we’re learning a lot along the way. Matthew and Danny were hard at work on building the algae measuring device, which is an awesome project. They also spent time inflating the algae (yes, you read that right!), which sounds pretty cool but tricky too. Another big task today was testing out the swerve drive, which is a special system we use for the robot’s movement. It’s important that it works well, so we had to replace one of the motors in the swerve drive to get it back to full strength. It was a tough job, but our team really pushed through and got it done! We’re all working super hard and learning a lot along the way. Keep an eye out for more updates as the BirchBots keep growing, building, and gearing up for an amazing season ahead!
